Yoga for kids
by kids at heart.
-
Yoga in the Yard fuses play, story time, and yoga for a silly and soothing experience. Each class is tailored to a specific theme and age group.
By bringing yoga into a neighborhood, kids enjoy a deeper sense of community while parents spend less time driving and waiting.
Our next classes will be at Rhino Coffee!

Space is limited so reserve your child’s class now! We cannot guarantee a spot if you do not sign up ahead of time.
Given the limited space, we cannot provide refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the class.

Kids should bring a filled water bottle and dress in comfortable clothing that allows for modesty in all pretzel-like positions.
A light, nutritious meal or snack about 30 minutes before class is recommended.
If you wish to stay during your child’s class, you may bring a mat and participate from the back row. We do not allow mere observation.
Kids can bring their own mats or use one of ours. We will provide any additional props or equipment necessary for a particular class.
Email us if you have questions!

Each class begins with a brief discussion of our rules and a warm up.
There will be silly songs and rhymes and often some funny faces.
We will practice sun salutations.
We always read a book and instruct movement along with it.

If your child enjoys their class, we really encourage yoga at home!
We are always happy to chat with parents about how they can make that happen. For starters, you can download yoga sequences from our store!
